Mobility app Bolt has introduced a new feature for flight tracking, providing users rides as soon as they arrive at their destination airport.
“When scheduling your ride from the airport, simply link your flight, and we’ll automatically adjust your pickup time, so your Bolt is ready to go when you land—at no additional cost,” Bolt said in a release. “And if your flight is canceled, we’ll cancel your ride for free.”
Bolt, which also announced its acquisition of Denmark’s electric ride-hailing service Viggo this week, said the service is meant to reduce travel stress.

Travelers can enter their flight number while scheduling a ride from the airport, and the app sets a pickup time automatically based on real-time flight status. Users can also factor in how much time they need between landing and pick up due to external factors such as luggage collection or customs. Rides to the airport can also be scheduled anywhere from 30 minutes to 90 days in advance.
While Bolt services more than 100 airports, the feature will roll out at 30 airports to start.
In 2021, Uber announced a similar flight tracking feature for users of its Uber Reserve service.
