The organization has three aims including defending “fair commercial conditions for independent platforms against incumbent operators,” a statement said.
It is also seeking transparency of rail data fares and a more competitive and connected rail market for European passengers.
"We are delighted to welcome BlaBlaCar to ADN Mobilités,” said Matthieu Marquenet, president of the organization as well as president of Kombo. “This partnership marks a decisive step in our mission: to allow passengers to book train tickets by comparing prices. With the arrival of BlaBlaCar, ADN Mobilités is strengthening its weight so that tickets become more accessible in France and Europe.”
BlaBlaCar recently announced the integration of train tickets in Spain into its platform enabling travelers to compare and book carpooling, bus or rail places.
"Our membership of ADN Mobilités is part of a common vision: to make sustainable mobility more accessible and inclusive,” said Adrien Tahon, European directorof BlaBlaCar. “The train is experiencing significant growth in Europe, offering new possibilities for passengers. To sustain this momentum, it is essential to allow them to freely and transparently compare the different offers.”
